Jeff is a recent transplant to Cold Spring by way of New York City, where he has been an editorial, advertising and fine art photographer for twenty years. His professional focus is beauty and fashion, but he also shoots documentary, urban/rural landscape and nature photography, as well as directing short films.
Jeff came to photography by a road of many twists and turns. On the way, he earned two degrees in philosophy, learned two skilled trades and plied himself to a variety of strange occupations, including one glorious summer as an octopus fisherman in Greece. He is a published philosopher, a journeyman Ironworker and a political activist.
In December of 2020 he joined the Board of the Cold Spring Chamber of Commerce as Advocacy Chair.
