The 2026 Philip Baumgarten Memorial Scholarship, awarded by the Cold Spring Chamber of Commerce, will grant $2,500 to one Philipstown high school senior who has demonstrated outstanding community engagement during their high school career by volunteering for a Philipstown nonprofit or charitable organization, working for or with a local business, or participating in another community-based initiative.

Candidates may be submitted through Student Applications or the Nomination Application (links below). If you are a Philipstown high school senior and wish to apply, complete the Student Application. Do you know a deserving high school senior? Let us know by completing the Nomination Application. Applications received by April 24 will be considered.

The selected recipient will be presented with the $2,500 scholarship at the Cold Spring Chamber of Commerce breakfast meeting on May 12.
