Why Join the Chamber?
The Cold Spring Chamber of Commerce has been strengthening our community since 1910. It is made up of a diverse group of business owners, freelancers and neighbors. It’s nothing like the rigid networking organizations you may be familiar with.
These are some of the reasons why our members renew their memberships year after year.
Community: It can be daunting to move somewhere new - and running your own business or freelance practice can be a lonely road. The Chamber is quite literally a small village of entrepreneurial people, ready to roll up their sleeves and work together.
Advocacy: The Chamber is committed to constructive relations with the Village, Town, and County governments. We use our voice to advocate for issues that matter to all our members.
Promotion: The Chamber works hard online and offline to promote our members. Our Insider’s Guide profiles members on our website; our area map & guide lands on the hands of over 15,000 locals and visitors annually.
Amenities: The Chamber maintains the Cold Spring Information Booth, staffed with volunteers to welcome and guide visitors.
Networking: But not the painful kind. Our bi-monthly breakfast events are a great opportunity to check in when you’re able to attend; monthly committee meetings are another venue to gather with like-minded neighbors. We are a tight-knit community who likes to keep business local.
Events: The Chamber’s breakfasts, open to everyone. Cold Spring Aglow is now a tradition of the holiday season. In Spring, we look forward to Cold Spring In Bloom. You’ve probably heard of some of our events - and perhaps you can help us dream up new ones.
