Mexico City native, Juanita Rincon, was taught to cook by her mother-in-law who was skilled at farm-homestyle cooking. Over the years of raising children and during periods of working and going to night school, cooking became Juanita’s way to unwind. Her table soon became crowded as her daughter, Julisa proudly encouraged everyone to eat what her mom was cooking. Junita opened a meal delivery business in the area which lead to the opening of Juanita’s Kitchen, located in Nelsonville, in 2016.
