Supporting public literacy, education, and community connections is what the Julia L. Butterfield Public Library excels at. They provide the community with a wide range of classes and educational programming that touch upon reading, writing, history, language, culture, arts, social studies and more. Members can order, download, or borrow a variety of books and media from the Mid-Hudson Library system. They offer access to NYC and local museum membership passes. And one can even borrow gardening and camping equipment from them!

The Julia L. Butterfield Library was established in 1913 by the will of Julia L. Butterfield.
